The conference is developed in conjunction with an international committee of senior emergency planning and disaster management specialists drawn from local and national government organisations, international aid agencies, consultancies, emergency services and academia. The committee identify current issues and topics affecting the disaster and emergency readiness community and a majority of the speakers are by invitation.
