Duty Gear Tips

How to keep duty belt equipment in place

I used to have trouble with my equipment sliding around on my nylon duty belt. I fixed this problem by slicing 1/2” to 1” bands from an old bicycle innertube. I cleaned the white power from the bands then slid them onto my belt to the positions my equipment cases would rest over. I then positioned the cases over the bands—that’s it! The rubber keeps the two surfaces stuck together, and if a case were to slide over a little, the black band would not show up on the belt.
