Marshall County Sheriff's Office to Purchase Stinger S-200s
TAMPA, Fla. -- Stinger Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: STIY), a leader in electro-stun technology today announced that the Marshall County Sheriff's Office in Oklahoma will be purchasing Stinger S-200 projectile stun devices.
Deputy Danny Cryer of Marshall County Sheriff's Office stated, "Myself and another officer from the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, along with over 25 officers from other agencies, attended Stinger S-200 Instructor level training in the San Antonio, Texas area. After experiencing the effects of the Stinger S-200, there is no way anyone could fight through it. Everyone was immediately locked up. I attended the Instructor level training because I was skeptical of the power of the Stinger S-200 after watching a comparison conducted by Taser Master Instructors from CRT Less Lethal on an older S-200 model that is not even being sold by Stinger. My experience and observations of the Stinger led me to believe the CRT study to be false. I like the cartridge eject system and the smart technology behind the Stinger. If the Stinger and Taser were sold at the exact same price, there is no doubt in my mind I would purchase the Stinger. When you compare today's Stinger to today's Taser, the choice is extremely obvious. I also like the fact that the Stinger product line has been used over 80,000 times between real world use and in training and they have zero reported injuries and no lawsuits."
