LAX security gets new game plan

Since there's supposed to be safety in numbers, airport security officials at Los Angeles International Airport are betting there is also security in numbers — as long as the numbers are random.

Mississippi levee breaks;

GULFPORT, Ill. — The rising Mississippi River interrupted travel on two bridges between Iowa and Illinois and threatened thousands of acres of farmland Tuesday. The river blew a massive hole in a levee near the farming community of Gulfport on Tuesday morning.
